Pete Prutzman

Retired

Pete managed the Arkadelphia office since its establishment in 1979 and was an original employee when Kingwood was founded in 1983. He served as Kingwood President from 2008-2018 and retired from full-time at the end of 2020. 

Pete graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry. He worked with the U.S. Forest Service on the Gifford Pinchot and Allegheny National Forests from 1976-1978. Pete is a Registered Forester and a Real Estate Broker in Arkansas and Oklahoma. He is a State Certified General Appraiser and Licensed Commercial Pesticide Applicator. Pete was 2014-2016 President of the Arkansas Forestry Association. He has served on the Board of Directors of Forest Landowners Association since 2009. He is a member of the Association of Consulting Foresters and Society of American Foresters (SAF Fellow; Certified Forester). Pete is past Chairman of Arkansas Board of Registration for Foresters, and served as Chair of the Arkansas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board. He is past President of Arkadelphia Rotary Club. In 2015, he was recognized as an Outstanding Alumnus of Penn State's School of Forest Resources. Pete received the Lifetime Achievement Award from SAF in 2020. He was inducted into the Arkansas Foresters Hall of Fame in 2024.
