| July, 2010: ****FORESTER Kingwood Forestry Services, Inc., an employee-owned company, has an opening for an experienced forester at our Arkadelphia, Arkansas office. The position requires a four year forestry degree. We are looking for an individual capable of working both independently and as a part of a team. Technical skills and the ability to complete tasks in an accurate and efficient manner are essential. Experience working with private and institutional landowners is a plus. Real estate & appraisal licenses are also desired; opportunities will be provided to acquire these licenses if not held at time of hire. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to become an integral part of our forest management team. Duties will include, but are not limited to: communicating with landowners, preparing timberland appraisals, managing real estate transactions, timber cruising with data recorder, marking timber, GPS data collection, GIS data management, harvest inspections, and preparing forest management reports. These activities are conducted on private and institutional ownerships in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, & Texas. We offer a competitive compensation package including medical and dental insurance, vacation & sick leave, mileage reimbursement, and 401(k) retirement account. Salary is commensurate with experience and performance. Arkadelphia, a city of about 11,000, is situated on Interstate 30 between Texarkana and Little Rock. There are two colleges: Henderson State University and Ouachita Baptist University.
