Kingwood Forestry Services: Appraisals

Timberland and timber appraisals are an essential ingredient of the full line of services provided by Kingwood Forestry. With three state certified general appraisers and four state registered appraisers on our staff, prompt delivery of high quality appraisals is our performance standard.

Kingwood Forestry can prepare a formal written appraisal of your forest that may be used to help solve tax problems, to guide in selling or purchasing property or to help secure mortgage money. We are State Certified General Appraisers in Arkansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. We also have performed certified timberland appraisals in Texas, Kentucky, Missouri, and Tennessee.

Pete Prutzman is Arkansas CG0770 and Oklahoma 12604CGA, John McAlpine is Arkansas CG1897 and Louisiana CG, Jim Foster is Arkansas CG0675. In addition, four of our foresters are Registered Appraisers in Arkansas. Our appraisal clients include private landowners, banks, timber industries, attorneys, conservation organizations and government agencies. Our appraisers have served as expert witnesses in forestry appraisal matters in state and federal courts.
