Jim Foster

Now Retired, Jim is co-founder of Kingwood Forestry Services. Jim graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelors of Science in Forestry in 1964, after which he conducted graduate studies at Iowa State University. Jim served as an officer in the United States Navy from 1966 to 1969. After that, Jim joined Potlatch Corporation as a Block Forester and White River Operations Forester in Arkansas. He became a consulting forester in 1973 and co-founded Kingwood Forestry in 1983. Jim is a member of the Association of Consulting Foresters, Society of American Foresters, and Arkansas Forestry Association. Jim was an Arkansas State Certified General Appraiser and served as a member of Appraiser Licensing & Certification Board. Jim was a licensed Real Estate Broker in Arkansas & Louisiana, and a past member of the Arkansas Board of Registration for Foresters. Jim continues to participate in Kingwood Forestry Services operating in an advisory capacity.
