Carl HerbergPosition: Texarkana Manager & Vice President of Kingwood Carl graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelors of Science in Forestry in 1995. Carl and his wife Wendy, also a professional forester, operated a private forestry consulting business in central Missouri for several years. Carl joined the Kingwood staff in September 1998 to serve as general manager of the industrial services department in Monticello. In the first quarter of 2000, Kingwood established the Kingwood office at Texarkana where Carl moved to be the general manager. Carl is the Vice President of Kingwood Forestry and a member of Board of Directors. Carl is a Registered Forester in Arkansas and Louisiana and a licensed Real Estate Salesman in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana. He is an Arkansas State Resistered Appraiser and an active member of the Association of Consulting Foresters and Society of American Foresters. Carl is a Private Pilot. |

David StantonPosition: Forester David graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry-Wildlife Habitat Management and Conservation in 2020. He joined the Texarkana staff in August of 2021 as a full-time forester. His primary focus is working with our institutional clients for timber management. He is a United States Army veteran and served from 2013 to 2017. He was stationed in Qatar where he worked in Operation Enduring Freedom and Freedom’s Sentinel. After the Army, he obtained his forestry degree and gained experience working all over the Eastern and Southern United States. |

Randy HousePosition: Forestry Technician Randy House joined the Texarkana staff in 2018 as a full-time Forestry Technician. Randy has two years prior experience with Deltic Timber Corporation as a Forest Technician. Randy has a wildlife degree from Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, Arkansas. His primary focus is working on both our private and institutional clients for timber management, appraisal and real estate field work. Randy also handles our hunting lease administration to keep all our client’s lands leased and properly insured. |

Becky ParkerPosition: Administrative Assistant Becky joined the Texarkana office of Kingwood Forestry Services in 2019. After graduating from East Texas State University at Commerce in 1981 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. She spent almost 30 years as an auditor for the Texas Comptroller of Accounts. Upon retiring from the State of Texas, she continued to work in the accounting field in various capacities. Becky’s duties include preparing contracts, reviewing timber settlements and providing administrative support to the professional staff in the Texarkana office.
