John gained valuable experience working for his
father Harold, a forestry consultant in Bismarck, AR, and owner of the McAlpine Christmas

Ben Ballard

Ben gained valuable experience
through eight years of service with International Paper. Upon graduation, he began
his career with the IP - Nacogdoches forest operations; later moving into logging and
acquisition for the Henderson Lumber Mill. He relocated to Arkansas in 2001 where he
was an operations analyst for the Ouachita Area. In 2003, he moved to Pine Bluff, AR
as Fiber Supply Specialist for the Pine Bluff Paper Mill. Ben joined Kingwood in
September 2006. Arkansas Registered

Rusty
Merchant
Since joining the Kingwood staff in
June, 1995, he has worked in timber marketing services and the industrial services
department. Rusty works behind the scenes in many of Kingwood's forest management
activities. He is involved with much of the field work from the Monticello office. |

Rodney joined the Kingwood staff in January of 2008
after spending 17 years managing timberland in six states along the Mississippi River for
Anderson-Tully Company. Experiences gained while working as Region Manager and in
other management positions with Anderson-Tully Company include: administration,
silvicultural planning and implementation, harvesting, river transportation, land
acquisition and deposition, consulting, research, and procurement. Rodney, his wife
Susan, son Jake, and daughter Jessica reside in the Enon Community near Monticello.
Professional associations include: Arkansas Registered Appraiser, Arkansas
Registered Forester, Arkansas Forestry Association, Society of American Foresters,
Southern Hardwood Forestry Group. |
