Arkadelphia Office

	Phil Wright Position: Arkadelphia Manager and Forester Office: Arkadelphia Phone: 870-246-5757 Email: pwright@kingwoodforestry.com Phil joined the Kingwood staff in September, 2011. He spent eight years in Kingwood's Texarkana office where his primary duties included management of timberland for institutional and private landowners. Phil relocated to the Arkadelphia office in December, 2019. Phil graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry. He spent the first six years of his career with another consulting forestry firm prior to joining Kingwood. Phil is a Registered Forester, Real Estate Broker, and Registered Apprentice Appraiser in Arkansas. He is a member of the Association of Consulting Foresters, currently serving as Secretary / Treasurer for the Arkansas Chapter.
	Jimmy Don Thomas Position: Forester Office: Arkadelphia Office Phone: 870-246-5757 Email: jdthomas@kingwoodforestry.com Jimmy Don is a native of Gurdon, AR and graduated from the University of Arkansas at Monticello with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry in 2000. He worked for a short time with Potlatch Corporation in Prescott before taking a position with Kingwood in August of 2000. He began his career as forester in the industrial services department at our Monticello office and moved to Arkadelphia in June of 2003 where he nows plays a key role in most projects. Jimmy Don participates in field work for land and timber sales and is also a GIS expert. He manages several accounts for Kingwood's private landowners. Jimmy Don is a Registered Forester in Arkansas, and holds an Arkansas real estate license and commercial drone operator certification.
	Brian Clark Position: Forester Office: Arkadelphia Phone: 870-246-5757 Email: bclark@kingwoodforestry.com Brian Clark is a 2014 graduate of the University of Arkansas at Monticello with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry. He also became an Arkansas Registered Forester in May, 2014. While finishing his bachelor's degree, Brian worked part-time with Kingwood's Monticello office as a forestry technician. He also held an internship with Potlatch Corporation in Warren where he performed field work for harvest operations. Brian is a Registered Forester in Arkansas and holds an Arkansas real estate license.
	Amber Barentine Position: Administrative Assistant Office: Arkadelphia Office Phone: 870-246-5757 Email: abarentine@kingwoodforestry.com Amber joined Kingwood's Arkadelphia office in 2019. She graduated from Henderson State University with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Management in 2016. Before taking the position at Kingwood, Amber worked summer positions with the U.S. Forest Service as a Forestry Technician, and with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as a Park Ranger. Amber's duties include assisting with appraisal report generation and providing administrative support to the professional staff in the Arkadelphia office.
	Melissa Kimsey Position: Administrative Assistant Office: Arkadelphia Office Phone: 870-246-5757 Email: mkimsey@kingwoodforestry.com Melissa joined Kingwood's Arkadelphia office in 2008. She has worked in the administrative support field for many years and has been a trainer for customer service. Melissa duties include preparing contracts, managing transactions, generating reports, and providing administrative support to the professional staff in the Arkadelphia office.
	Pete Prutzman Position: Retired December, 2020 Office: Arkadelphia Office Phone: 870-246-5757 Email: pprutzman@kingwoodforestry.com Pete managed the Arkadelphia office since its establishment in 1979. He served as Kingwood President from 2008-2018. Pete graduated from Penn State University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry. He worked with the U.S. Forest Service on the Gifford Pinchot and Allegheny National Forests from 1976-1978. Pete is a Registered Forester and a Real Estate Broker in Arkansas and Oklahoma. He is a State Certified General Appraiser and Licensed Commercial Pesticide Applicator. Pete was 2014-2016 President of the Arkansas Forestry Association. He serves on the Board of Directors of Forest Landowners Association. He is a member of the Association of Consulting Foresters and Society of American Foresters (SAF Fellow; Certified Forester). Pete is past Chairman of Arkansas Board of Registration for Foresters, and recently served as Chair of the Arkansas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board. He is past President of Arkadelphia Rotary Club. In 2015, he was recognized as an Outstanding Alumnus of Penn State's School of Forest Resources. Pete received the Lifetime Achievement Award from SAF in 2020.
