Forester
Kingwood Forestry Services, Inc., a full-service forestry consulting firm, has an immediate opening for a Forester at our Monticello Arkansas office. The position is for a Forester, either entry-level or experienced, and requires a four-year forestry degree. We are looking for an individual who can work both independently and as a part of a team. Technical, communication, and computer skills are essential along with the ability to complete tasks in the woods and in the office in an accurate and efficient manner. Some forestry experience is preferred, but not required.
The successful candidate will become an integral part of our forest management team and have several opportunities for professional development. The successful candidate will be working with a wide range of clients on both private and TIMO landowners. Responsibilities will include designing and implementing timber inventory with a data recorder, timber harvest preparation and oversight, reforestation planning and oversight, wood certification compliance, mapping with GPS and ESRI Arcmap, GIS software management, and assisting with preparation of forest management reports, real estate sales and appraisals. Other duties will be assigned as needed.
